Prakriti Rekha Kalway is a trained Indian classical vocalist with over 18 years of teaching experience. She began her musical journey under Guru Shri D. L. Pramanik (Jabalpur, MP) and further honed her craft under esteemed Gurus such as Pt. Devendra Verma Bajrang (Gwalior and Agra Gharana), Pt. Rajesh Mishra (Benaras Gharana), and Vidushi Vijya Verma. She also studied Kathak under Padma Bhushan Pt. Birju Maharaj Ji's Kalashram, guided by Vidushi Shaswati Sen Ji. Additionally, she trained in light music under Bollywood music director Shri Ravindra Jain and Pt. Bhagwan Kaushik.

About the Documentary
A documentary made by Prakriti Rekha Kalway which has won two awards: The Best Documentary award by Pravasi Samvad, an internationally acclaimed publication, and The Best Speaker award by The Mighty Pen Academy. Veena is the most ancient music instrument of Indian Classical Music and is honored as the National Instrument. Unfortunately, the prevalence of Veena is decreasing gradually in North India especially. This documentary is a humble effort towards promoting and popularizing Veena. It is also considered the queen of Musical instruments and the mother of all the string instruments originated in India.
